Ultralight Joe's Excellent JMT Adventure
Aspen, ferns, wet wet wet as I head up the persistent switchbacks heading over Bear Ridge. Fresh memories of the relative decadence at VVR both soothed and tugged at the mind, but it was good to be back on the trail at last. I was stepping it out at a spirited pace, partially at the joy of being foot-mobile again, but also to try and catch up with the Wilderness Madness crew.
