Ultralight Joe's Excellent JMT Adventure
A few of the seriously cool folks at VVR. The fellow on the left is Tyler (the ferry jockey), in the middle is Lou, who worked in the cafe', and to the right is a friend of theirs from AZ. (As soon as I can find my little scrap of trash I was keeping notes on, I'll remember his name - DOH!) Unfortunately I somehow managed to miss getting a photo of Casey. (Hi guys!) You may have noticed their packs - working at VVR has some key perks, like having the High Sierras as your backyard when you have time off! This was the end of the ferry run, back on the trail again. Wahoo!
